Brickyard Counter & Bar

This was a cheat as far as far as the Shake and Date guidelines state. But for good reason. We were invited to our granddaughters birthday dinner at this place, and since we know it is in our bottle and that we’re leaving for New York this Thursday, we justified skipping the shake for this one. Their name is still in our bottle, so we will definitely be returning here to give it the true Shake and Date experience.

This place has a full Bar and a large outside patio area which faces the town center pond and features fire pits and heaters to help warm you up during the colder evenings. We ordered a combination pizza with white sauce (our request). They are made brick oven style and it was delicious. AND during happy hour, all pizzas are 20% off. Along with the pizza, we each just ordered a beer. Nothing special there, so I will most likely be updating this post after we frequent it for “reals”.

According to their website, they have live music on the weekends (Thursday, Friday & Saturday), Trivia every Monday and all kinds of other things happening, so be sure to check them out! The place was pretty cool so we may have to return to there even before we “shake” them out. We’ll have to wait and see how patient we can be.
